Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to make animal assisted therapy accessible on the high street.  We aim to support urban communities by offering inclusive, calm and relaxing spaces in what can be a busy, crowded and over stimulating world.  The purpose of Cat Cafe is to help people feel better.

We offer unique and independent cat therapy in a selection of UK cities by creating the very best environment for cats and humans to relax and spend time together.  We are backed by outstanding animal welfare policies and a wealth of experience, having opened our first Cat Cafe in Manchester in 2016.

We are not a cat rescue centre.  Our cats are not available for adoption, and instead we focus on supporting independent charities by donating 50% of the profits made on our merchandise directly to local cat rescues.

We allow entry to anyone 10 years old and over during general admission, and provide child friendly hours where children between the ages and 4 and 9 are also welcome.  This means that families who cannot have their own pet for a variety of reasons can come and share ours and experience the joy of owning their very own cat for an hour or two.

We host book clubs, film nights, craft nights and provide dedicated subsidised hours for the SEN community and their carers, so they have the opportunity to attend on a weekly basis.  Birthday packages, celebration packages, afternoon tea and private hire are also available.

Cat Cafe operate using the traditional Japanese model where customers pay for their time spent in the cafe and a selection of hot and cold drinks are available unlimited and free of charge.  We also offer food, snacks and premium drinks at an additional charge.

We hope you enjoy your visiting our feline families and remember, time spent with cats is never wasted.
